Fantastic to see full live coverage. Even though I live in France (and speak French fluently ) I find the UK coverage ( commentary ) better. It is much more informative and the team at ITV 4 is excellent, assuming it will be the same team. Will there be any evening coverage as well ? as we won't be able to spend every afternoon infront of the tele!!

Love the way they now have rest days on Mondays to fit in with Cycling Weekly press days, they were not always this accommodating in the past.

We need the evening highlights show - its bad enough in July as it is, I never get anything done. I trust CW will be doing the usual live chats for some of the key stages ? Not too many - I cant write off too many afternoons at work

Sitting on the roadside quaffing cold beer watching 'The Tour' fly past is great but this year I will be happy to sit in my armchair quaffing cold beer watching 'The Tour' on ITV4. If the schedule for coverage on ITV4 is carried through then us, 'couch potatoes', are in for a treat.

I'm the same as Paul. I live in France, speak French fluently, but prefer the coverage on ITV4 (ITV Player on the internet)

The Tour is better than ever. However, my wife worked in France and I in Belgium. We sit and follow the tour on our French maps. It would be so helpful to both of us if Phil could put a name on the screen of an area or a town where the Tour is passing through. We sometimes have difficulty with his French accent. Thanks for a wondersful programme, Mike Robinson

Dear Sir, impressed by the coverage of the Tour by the team , but in future the cyclists need more protection to road race without impedience by intruding cars amongst the race itself. No unauthorised cars are allowed on the race route itself so why are rogue drivers allowed to impede the impetus of the competive speed of the Tour, as an avid spectator of bike racing I would like to see severe penalties and more protection on the rolling road for the cyclists that give us all ,every year so much satisfaction. Please print this as a catalyst for more awareness to our sporting heros. at present Jonny Hoogerland needs a medal to-day , not just a jersey !!! ken bainbridge

Hi I'm watching the tour in Australia and Phil Liggett is doing the commentary for SBS. He must have to change his shirts a lot as when hes doing a piece to camera he's even wearing the SBS shirt not a channel 4 one!! Coverage over here is on very late at night and the highlights only on for half an hour in the evenings..... missing channel 4 coverage. Also its all about Cadel here and any of the ozzies not very balanced.

In a year of football, Olympics and Tennis etc, it will be wonderful to have some real sport, as the best cyclists in the world take on the 'Tour.' The TV schedule looks great, I'll be spending my afternoons in front of the TV.
