After several of the solo national championships in recent weeks, the National Team Time Trial Championship is next in line, taking place in Hampshire this Sunday.
The popular event has attracted a full field of 100 plus reserves, with each trio being set off at three minute intervals from 7am until the final team tackles the 36.5-mile course at 8.40am.
The event uses the P889 course between Rake, Liphook and Petersfield, with Rake Village Hall as the headquarters.
There are several classy looking teams taking part, with the Sigma Sport-Specialized trio of Steve Lampier, Phill Sykes and Wouter Sybrandy the last off.
Cycle Premier-Metaltek include Tony Gibb, Dale Appleby and Jason White in their team, while I Ride RT includes current Rudy Project Series leader Matt Bottrill in their line-up as well as Scott Povey and Scott Walker.
Talented junior rider Alex Royle will prove no hindrance to the Science in Sport.com team who also have Alistair Rutherford and Adam Duggleby, while Twenty 3C-Orbea's riders are Mike Cumings, Andrew Griffiths and Joseph Perrett.
There are six 50-mile events taking place across the country this weekend, including the Andy Wilson Memorial in North Yorkshire, promoted by the Yorkshire Cycling Federation.
The 80th running of the event, it remembers Andy Wilson who was one of the most outstanding time triallists of the 1920s before an untimely death at the age of just 23.
Among the 85 entrants is multiple national champion and former British Best All-Rounder Kevin Dawson, a former competition record holder at the distance.
Just back from his race-winning effects alongside Sportscover.com team-mates in the Race Across America, Dawson is scratchman in the event - but he will have to be on top form to hold off a raft of worthy challengers.
Derek Parkinson (Cleveleys RC) also rides, as does Planet X's Andy Jackson as well as Congleton CC duo Alf Hilton and Neil Skellern.
A quality field is also riding the Shaftesbury CC 50 at Six Mile Bottom, Cambridgeshire, on Saturday.
Evergreen Ian Cammish (Planet X) is fastest on paper for the event on the E2/50c, while UTAG Yamaha.com paid Julian Jenkinson and Steven Whitewick are also aiming for a podium finish. Cambridge CC's Ken Platts could also challenge.
Sunday sees the Welsh 12-Hour Championship staged on the R12/95 course at Abergavenny, whereJonathan Shubert (Ystwyth CC) looks to be one of the contenders. Last man off is Garry Drew (RNRMCA), while Northovers VT rider Jon Wynn is tackling his first 12-hour event for a while and will be aiming for a podium finish.
