The second day of the 2012 race sees the riders head to Cheshire and the Peak District. The first of the day's three first category climbs appears after 25 kilometres of riding - Cross o' th' Hands.
The going gets decidely lumpy, passing over Alstonefield and over the final categorised climb at Morridge at 65kms, then it's down through Cheshire to Knowsley for a fast finish.
