The Union Cycliste Internationale's top-tier race calendar, the WorldTour, has taken on a truly international feel in the past few years.

The WorldTour in 2013 starts in January at the Tour Down Under in Australia, and finishes with a pair of stage races in China during October - the Tour of Hangzhou and Tour of Beijing.

In between there is a mixture of well-established one-day classics, monuments, Grand Tours and week-long stage races in France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland and Canada.

Cycling Weekly will be reporting from each and every event in the 2013 UCI WorldTour, and we'll add a link to our coverage when each event commences.

Riders taking part in WorldTour events are awarded points for placing highly. The points are used to compile a WorldTour Ranking, published by the UCI following the conclusion of each counting event.
