Chris Lawless continued the British juniors run of success winning stage two of the Trofeo Karlsberg in Germany, the latest round of the Nations Cup.
Lawless won a bunch sprint on Friday at the end of a 100km stage to take the yellow jersey. The British team also took the lead in the team classification.
Lawless lost the jersey in the Saturday morning 11.5km time trial, losing 43 seconds to Dane Mads Pedersen. Matthew Gibson was the best placed Briton in the time trial, in tenth, at 24 seconds.
There are two stages remaining, a 79km road stage Saturday afternoon and a 100km stage on Sunday. The race runs on the eastern border of Germany, near the French town of Metz.
The rest of the British team is Tao Geoghegan Hart, Scott Davies, Joe Evans and Germain Burton.
