Over 1,500 cyclists take part in London flashride

London flashride, February 22 2012

Over 1,500 cyclists took part in last night's flashride in Central London, according to Metropolitan Police estimates.

The ride, which was held to coincide with this afternoon's debate on cycle safety in Westminster Hall, started and finished on The Mall via the Houses of Parliament, the Albert Embankment and Whitehall.
