Great Britain’s team pursuit quartet of Bradley Wiggins, Geraint Thomas, Ed Clancy and Steven Burke blitzed the opposition to win gold at the Manchester round of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup on Sunday.
Just two seconds off the world record, the Team GB squad clocked three minutes and 55.438 seconds in the gold medal final against New Zealand.
Cycling Weekly photographer Andy Jones was on hand to record the progress of the GB team from earlier rounds to the final win, then on the podium and media scrum afterwards.
