Campagnolo time trial shifters, brakes and cranksets
It’s only been six months since Campagnolo launched its electronic ESP system and less than a year since the last time trial components, but Campag is now launching time trial-specific ESP bar-end shifters and brake controls. So shifting gears is as easy as pushing a button – anything that helps conserving energy while on the rivet is always a good thing.
The new front-end set-up is accompanied by the launch of new Bora Ultra and Bullet Ultra streamlined cranksets, which are both designed to be light and stiff to maximize power transfer and Campag claim they are more aerodynamic than other cranksets on the market.
One thing’s for sure, they were designed for function and certainly not form.

Vittoria’s Neutral Service
If you’re as big a cycling geek as us, then check out Vittoria’s behind the scenes YouTube films giving you an insight to inner workings of neutral service at Strade Bianche and the Giro d’Italia.
The Serviizio Corse film is a great way to see the racing from a completely different perspective and having got the lowdown on the crew that make up the neutral service team from the website makes us like the film that little bit more.
Control Tech time trial brake lever
Now we’re mid-time trial season, and there’s endless fettling and upgrading that can be done to make us even swifter to beat our previous times.
In a world where every little detail counts, you might want to feast your eyes – and possibly kitchen scales – on these new brake levers from Control Tech.
The 3k carbon body with lightweight alloy 7075 internals make these some of the lightest brakes on the market. Designed for internal cable routing and good ergonomics for comfort and braking feel.
Control Tech make no excuses on revisiting the classic time trial brake lever. Well, if it ain’t broke…
Cube is riding the crest of its successful velo wave and is now bringing helmets to the UK.
The a HPC helmets feature a Fitsystem one-hand adjustment system and a magnetic chin closure system, which is so unusual that we have spent far too long sitting at our desks opening and closing it.
The jury’s still out as to whether or not we like it yet.
Available now in five colourways and in sizes small to large for £118.99
