Thieves broke into JE James Cycles’ Chesterfield shop in the early hours of Friday morning and took two top-end mountain bike bikes worth £7,800 in total.
In incident happened between 2.00 and 2.30am on Friday, July 1. Thieves broke through the main shop door and managed to locate two of the most expensive bikes in the shop.
The two models removed were: a Lapierre Zesty 914 2011 in a Large 50cm worth £4,800; and a Kona Stinky Air 2008 in a Medium 15.5in worth £3,000.
The thieves then made their getaway in a small van and headed towards the Sheffield area.
JE James Cycles is offering a reward of £500 to anyone who supplies information leading to the arrest and conviction of the offender(s).
