Go Outdoors expands own-brand bike range

Retailer Go Outdoors' range of road bikes are on sale for between £359 and £779, aimed at riders buying their first bikes

Outdoor equipment retailer Go Outdoors has revealed its new range of own brand bikes, with offerings for road cyclists, commuters and mountain bikers.

The Calibre road bikes range in price from £359 (£225 with a Go Outdoors discount card) and £779 (£649 with discount) and are aimed at people looking to buy their first sportive or race bike.

The higher specification Calibre Stat offers an alloy frame with carbon forks and a ten-speed Shimano groupset.

Mike Sanderson, cycling buyer for Go Outdoors, said: “The range is designed to give GO Outdoors customers the best specification possible at each price point, whether they are cycling for leisure, just starting out and want good quality at a reasonable price or are looking for a higher spec model.

“All of the bikes offer features and equipment not normally available at such prices, making these bikes some of the best value on the market.”
