Mekk Primo 6.0
Mekk Primo 6.0 bike range
We first had a look at Mekk bikes last year, finding ourselves generally impressed, but noted that some of the componentry had taken a hit in order to meet an affordable price point.
Not resting on its laurels, Mekk took feedback on board, and 2013 sees an increase in the range to four improved finishing kit options.
Following our belief that the frame is very much the heart of the bike, the range of four bikes are each offered with different finishes to suit different budgets - but with the same frame and forks at the core.
At the top of the tree is the aero-styled carbon frame and bladed fork platform of the Primo Series. The ‘race-ready' series of three starts at £1,999.99 for the 6.0, pictured, and comes with full Shimano 105, Mavic Aksium M10 wheels shod with our beloved Michelin Pro 4.
The frame is ready to be digitalised, should you wish to upgrade at a later date, or alternatively -- if your budget allows - the Primo 7.0 comes complete with Ultegra Di2 for £3,499.99. Available now in sizes 48-59cm.
