British Cycling denies kit funded by UK Sport has been sold for profit

British Cycling says in a statement that some old, unworn commercially provided kit is sold at 'cycle jumbles' and is unable to guarantee what the buyers then do with it

British Cycling denies claims that UK Sport-funded equipment has been sold online for profit after a report in the Daily Mail stated that you could buy items ranging from skinsuits to bikes.

The governing body said in a statement on Thursday that none of the lottery-funded kit and equipment has been given away, sold for profit or even left the National Cycling Centre.
