Chris Froome's season will continue after the Olympics with the Tour de France winner slated to ride the Vuelta a España in August and September

Chris Froome's busy season will not end after the Olympic Games, with the Tour de France winner set to start the Vuelta a España on August 20.

Froome will ride both the road race and time trial in Rio, on August 6 and 10 respectively, before flying back to Europe for his second Grand Tour of the season.
