Veteran Kevin Tye raced to victory in the Fred Peachey Memorial 25 in Kent on Sunday, but he was just one second short of course record for the Q25/20 at Harrietsham.

The Velo Refined Aerosmiths rider clocked 52-41 to take the win by more than two minutes from his nearest rival with a strong performance in the De Laune CC event, while Gary Record (West Kent RC) was second and Jon Sullivan (VC Elan) third.
