'It's like going from primary to high school': Owain Doull prepares to step-up for his Team Sky debut

Welsh gold medallist Owain Doull, having completed a more than successful stint on the track, lands his dream road gig at Team Sky and will make his debut at Paris-Tours

At 23-years-old, Owain Doull has just won an Olympic gold medal on the track in Rio and is about to begin his professional career on the road with the WorldTour squad Sky at Paris-Tours this Sunday.

Sir Bradley Wiggins, Doull’s team-mate in the team pursuit at the Games, has already called him “the next best thing” on the road, while Sky boss Sir Dave Brailsford described the young Welshman as “a very exciting prospect”.
