Otterspool Park, Merseyside, hosted round nine of the North West Cyclocross League – the Geoff Bewley Memorial ‘Cross – on Saturday, November 19.

The muddy conditions provided a challenge for the riders in the event promoted by Liverpool Century RC, which this year fittingly celebrates its centenary.

Giles Drake (Leisure Lakes Bikes) took the senior men’s victory from junior rider Mark Donovan (Wheelbase), with Jack Humphreys (Wheelbase) in third.
