British time trial specialist Alex Dowsett named among 13 riders in Movistar's Tour de France pre-selection shortlist

Alex Dowsett has been named on the Movistar team's shortlist for the 2014 Tour de France, which starts in Yorkshire on Saturday July 5.

The current British time trial champion was named along with the squad's Tour leader, Alejandro Valverde. Joining them are Imanol Erviti (SPA), John Gadret (FRA), Iván Gutiérrez (SPA), Jesús Herrada (SPA), Beñat Intxausti (SPA), Ion Izagirre (SPA), Juanjo Lobato (SPA), Rubén Plaza (SPA), José Joaquín Rojas (SPA), Sylwester Szmyd (POL) and Giovanni Visconti (ITA).
