Chris Froome and Peter Sagan's special bikes for Tour de France final stage
A yellow Pinarello and a green Specialized for Chris Froome and Peter Sagan to mark their classification wins in the 2016 Tour de France
Tour de France overall leader Chris Froome (Sky) and points classification leader Peter Sagan (Tinkoff) will complete the final 113 kilometres of the 2016 race on custom-painted bikes to celebrate their achievements.
Froome will climb aboard a yellow Pinarello Dogma F8 to complete the final stage into Paris on Sunday, and – barring disaster – celebrate his third Tour de France overall victory.
His special bike continues the rhino motif on the head and top tube that has been a feature of his bikes for the past couple of seasons. A yellow flash on the saddle to match his yellow jersey completes Froome's commemorative machine.

Sky also wore variation on their regular kit, with the blue panels replaced by yellow.
Meanwhile, green jersey winner Sagan will ride a shiny green machine to celebrate his fifth consecutive win in the Tour's points classification. Sagan's relentless attacking style and ability to win on the flat and on hilly terrain netted him three stage wins in the 2016 Tour – and the overall 'super combativity prize'.
Sagan's bike is the latest Specialized S-Works Venge ViAS and also features green handlebar tape and world champion stripes on the Roval deep-section wheels.

Sagan's Tinkoff team-mate Rafal Majka also received a polka-dot bike after securing the King of the Mountains classification.
The 2016 Tour de France concludes on Sunday (July 24) with a 113km flat stage into its traditional showdown on the Champs Élysées in Paris. While Froome will be staying safe in the peloton to claim the overall title, don't count against Sagan being part of the action for the stage victory.

Nigel Wynn worked as associate editor on CyclingWeekly.com, he worked almost single-handedly on the Cycling Weekly website in its early days. His passion for cycling, his writing and his creativity, as well as his hard work and dedication, were the original driving force behind the website’s success. Without him, CyclingWeekly.com would certainly not exist on the size and scale that it enjoys today. Nigel sadly passed away, following a brave battle with a cancer-related illness, in 2018. He was a highly valued colleague, and more importantly, an exceptional person to work with - his presence is sorely missed.
