Schleck's Tour build-up falters with Dauphine TT crash

Andy Schleck

Andy Schleck saw his Tour de France preparations derailed today in the Critérium du Dauphiné. RadioShack-Nissan's leader slid through a corner and crashed early on in the time trial to Bourg-en-Bresse.

He recovered, but still lost 10 minutes by the finish. The time loss over the 53.5km course gains importance ahead of the Tour, where this year there are just over 100 kilometres of time trialling.
