With just one fourth category climb along the 198km route, it's easy to think stage three is all plain sailing for the sprinters and their teams.
Nonetheless, because of the proximity to the Atlantic, the threat of cross-winds, splits in the peloton and crashes will result in a rather nervous peloton throughout.
Oh, before we forget, that categorised climb comes at the top of the Saint-Nazaire bridge, which should lead to some great shots on the television coverage.
