Hayley Simmonds claims National Time Trial title

The Velosport Montegrappa rider records a blistering time to take the national title by well over a minute

Hayley Simmonds claimed the Women's British National Time Trial title in Lincoln, beating Molly Weaver into second place, with Dame Sarah Storey claiming bronze.

Simmonds raced around the 33.6km course in an unassailable time of 51:39.89, ahead of riders including Ciara Horne and Katie Archibald, who came in fifth and sixth respectively.
