Full official start list for the 2014 Giro d'Italia (May 9 to June 1), including race numbers

The 2014 Giro d’Italia kicks off on Friday, May 9, in Belfast and concludes on June 1 in Trieste.

Twenty two teams will line up for the race each comprising nine men, bringing the total start list to 198 riders.

In the absence of last year’s winner, Vincenzo Nibali, Astana’s Michele Scarponi will wear the number one plate.
