A comprehensive list of London 2012 Olympic Games test events has been released by London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG), including a full list of cycling events.

As previously reported, the Olympic road race circuit in Surrey will host a race on August 14, 2011 – named by LOCOG in its test events list as the ‘Surrey Cycle Classic’. The circuit includes several ascents of the infamous Box Hill.

The newly-completed London velodrome will host a round of the UCI Track World Cup on February 17-19 2012, replacing Manchester as venue for the British round of the annual series.

On July 31 2011, the 2012 mountain bike course in Hadleigh Farm in Essex will be used for the Hadleigh Farm International.

And over August 19-20 2011, the BMX track will host a round of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup.

The test events give organisers a chance to run top-level races to highlight any shortcomings for each venue/course ahead of the Games, which run from July 27 to August 12, 2012.

Test event dates may be subject to change.
