The 2012 Union Cycliste Internationale Track Cycling World Championships kick off on Wednesday April 4 for five days of racing at the Hisense Arena in Melbourne, Australia.

This year’s World Championships have added resonance as they represent the last chance for riders to make an impression in top-level competition ahead of the London 2012 Olympic Games in July and August.

Great Britain fields a full-strength squad, including all of the nation’s Olympic hopefuls.

We will be covering the 2012 Track World Championships in full on www.cyclingweekly.co.uk with daily reports, latest news, analysis and photo galleries.
