It won’t be long before we turn our attention fully to the 2013 Tour de France. With excitement already brewing, Le Coq Sportif has revealed the 100th edition of the Tour de France Maillot Jaune.

The jersey itself will be unique to 2013′s race with a translucent ‘Moor’s head’ imprint at the front to recognise the grand depart host, Corsica, and will include reflective detailing to shine under street lighting at the night grand finish, which will be a first for the Tour this year.

The design-led garment is said to take inspiration from the 1951 Tour Maillot Jaune when Le Coq Sportif first supplied the race with its iconic overall classification leader’s jersey, as well as paying tribute to Henri Desgrange who founded the Tour de France.

A jersey we are sure will be a hit with the fans.

Can anyone tell me the best site to find detailed road maps for the 2013 TDF? I’m trying to work out the best road side viewing options for a few of the stages. Thanks in anticipation.
