Chris Froome's overall win at the 2015 Tour de France saw Team Sky top the race's prize money list, with Froome picking up €450,000 himself.

Sky's haul from the three week race stood at €556,630, with Movistar trailing in second with €442,080. The British team's prize money was augmented thanks to Froome's stage 10 victory and his mountains classification win, adding an extra €33,000 to the kitty.

Movistar picked up €300,000 thanks to Nairo Quintana and Alejandro Valverde finishing second and third overall, while the Colombian added another €25,000 with his white jersey win.

At the other end of the spectrum Orica-GreenEdge propped up the table with just over €10,000 earned over the course of the three weeks. The Australian team's hopes were dashed early as three riders pulled out of the race in the first week.

Wildcards MTN-Qhubeka won more money than seven WorldTour teams, finishing tenth in the table with €52,400 earned.
