Britain’s Bradley Wiggins took some time out during Monday’s first rest day of the 2009 Tour de France to talk to Cycling Weekly‘s Stephen Farrand about the race so far.

Wiggins has put in an excellent performance in the first nine days of the 2009 Tour, placing third in the opening time trial and then staying with the overall contenders in the Pyrenees.

The Garmin-Slipstream rider currently lies in fifth place overall, and hopes to keep hold of a top 15 position in the race all the way into Paris on Sunday, July 26.
