When: September 6-13 2015
Rank: UCI Europe Tour 2.HC

The route for the 2015 Friend Life Tour of Britain has been unveiled, with eight stages including a summit finish on Hartside Fell in Cumbria. Beaumaris on Anglesey hosts the start of the race, for a hilly opener in North Wales. The stages then dot around the country, taking in parts of Scotland, the north, centre and east of England before the traditional finale in London.

Unlike last year, the final day just features a criterium stage around Westminster rather than a split stage including a short time trial: there will be no test against the clock in 2015.

Dylan Van Baarle (Garmin-Sharp) won the 2014 Tour of Britain ahead of Michal Kwiatkowski (Omega Pharma-QuickStep) in second and 2013 champion Bradley Wiggins (Sky) in third.
