We’re getting a bit bored with white shoes, so step in Pearl Izumi.

The X-Alp Enduros look a bit like a trainer, making them ideal for urban use.

They handled mountain bike rides with ease too, although only in drier conditions as the sole tread wasn’t deep enough to deal with the wet stuff.

The upper materials are tough, and the fit, although a little small, was excellent.
