Shimano's R107's feature similar features to its more expensive brother R170's, which is good for the £99.99 price tag
Just like the £50 more expensive R170 that won last year’s big group test, the R107 is a no-nonsense, no-frills shoe that is quite simply brilliant.
With an almost identical upper to its more expensive stablemate, differences include the materials used for the vents and the sole.
Naturally these cost savings mean an increase in weight, but up against competition of a similar price, the R107 is still right on the money.
Just like the R170, comfort is superb and with the option of two-bolt cleat fitting, these are pretty much perfect entry-level road shoes.
