There's really very little to say about the R170. It quite simply feels right regardless of how you're riding, which makes it stand out for, well, not standing out.
It simply works, as a shoe rightly should. The simplicity of this shoe, along with features such as the generous soft mesh vents in key areas for when the weather's fine, and an easy-to-clean finish to the upper for when it isn't, means it scores big when it comes to practicality.
A useful range of adjustment, wide Velcro straps and a ratchet that's easy to use on the move adds to the appeal of this excellent, no-nonsense shoe.
