The long gauntlet protects from draughts, but be careful of tucking them over the top of sleeves in wet weather. Water can accumulate on your arm, run down the sleeve of your jacket and into the glove.

Thinsulate liner and waterproof internal Hipora shell make these gloves suitable for both the wet and cold.

The palm is grippy in all conditions, although some dexterity was lost due to the bulky fingers. Braking and gear changing is fine, but zips became a lot more fiddly.
