You can trust Cycling Weekly.
Dubbed Trioxx, the brushed thermal fabric is used for the whole of the Controlshield jacket. With enough stretch to minimise constriction, the arms and shoulders fit very well.
The thermal material incorporates a windproof membrane on exposed areas to remove the effect of wind chill.
The whole jacket has a coating that makes water bead on its surface, rather than soak in - a feature shared by the Sportful jacket.
