Looking for the ultimate in carbon bling? You could do worse than look at the Road Drive Carbon 2 pump from Lezyne. Made with a solid lay-up carbon handle and barrel, the weight is just 76g for the medium size.
Using a hose connection to the valve, as on a traditional pump, prevents bent valves and is something of a trademark now for Lezyne, as is the workmanship. Lezyne claims the Road Drive 2 has up to 20 per cent more power than most frame pumps and that it can pump up to 160psi or 11bar at max.
A neat carbon bracket sits under the bottle cage, and the open ends allow it to be fitted without fully removing the bottle cage. A complementing carbon cage is also available. Its low-profile design has an integrated mount and strap for Lezyne's Road Drive pumps and weighs just 26g.
