The Korsa Lite is the lightest of the aluminium bikes here. It’s the only SRAM-equipped machine, and the Apex kit delivers crisp, reliable shifting.
A sleek-looking carbon fork is in slight contrast to what is quite an agricultural-looking oversized aluminium frameset, with some hefty welds, but the combination is hard to fault out on the road. It’s an inspiring ride, at this price, both sprightly and lively but never nervous.
Initial concerns about ‘own branded’ brake calipers were soon quashed; they actually providing a better performance than many branded alternatives.
Deda Elementi finishing kit along with a San Marco saddle all add further desirability. If anything has been compromised, it’s the wheels. R500s are basic, but we didn’t notice a lack of performance from them, so it’s hard to dish out too severe a punishment for skimping, even though it’s usually not somewhere we’d recommend cutting corners.
