You’ll probably be nearly as surprised as us to find a bike with a full carbon frame and fork at £1,000, let alone one with full Shimano 105 and a decent pair of wheels too.

Even the finishing kit is from reputable ITM, and the complete bike is over a pound lighter than anything else here. How so? Sadly, let’s just say that the Evo Pro isn’t one of the best for stiffness.

Verdict

For us, we’d rather ride a metal frame at this price as we’ve found the handling is better, but if you absolutely have to have carbon, this one, which is exceedingly well specced, is one of your few options.
