Ritchey WCS contrail review

Ritchey Contrail saddle
Cycling Weekly Verdict

The foam is packed in for comfort while remaining supportive - perfect for heavier riders looking for a racy perch. Underneath, a stylish ?vectorwing' design helps to dissipate some extra road roughness. The saddle isn't the widest at 138mm, but it kept me incredibly comfortable as the miles ticked by.

Ritchey's offering is easily the heaviest saddle on test - over 60 per cent heftier than the lightweight Pro Turnix.

However, that's the only negative aspect of an otherwise lovely saddle. Realistically, who's going to notice an extra 100 grams, especially when it gives you this much comfort?
