A well known brand for tools and lights, we tested the Lezyne Stainless 12 multi-tool
The Lezyne Stainless 12 multi-tool is an exceptionally well-made piece of kit. The construction feels almost industrial but is very well thought out and comfortable to use, and will be a welcome addition to anyone’s jersey pocket. What’s more, the industrial feel means it’s also useful for more in-depth repairs done at home, rather than by the road side.
The pieces are well spaced and easy to access, which makes a nice change, especially if you’ve got cold fingers or you’re in a hurry.
This multi-tool boasts a repertoire of 12 tools, including a chain tool and tyre lever, which are essential but sometimes lacking on other offerings from rival manufacturers.
However, despite the tool range and comfort of use, this product is at the pricier end of the market coming in at £30. With Lezyne you know you’re getting a top quality product, but with other multi-tools from other brands we’ve used scoring more highly and working just as well, this investment will need some thought.
As the saying goes though: ‘buy cheap, buy twice’ and with this, you probably won’t need to buy another multi-tool for a decade.
