Omega Pharma-Quick Step

Classics specialists, who used to show up at the Tour de France with much the same positive attitude as teams like Euskaltel did at Paris-Roubaix. In the general classification, they’ve been almost comically unsuccessful. However, Mark Cavendish and Tony Martin have brought stage-winning ambition to the team.

If they can make their lead-out gel, Omega Pharma should put Cavendish into position to win a stage and provide the opposition in the sprints that Marcel Kittel didn’t get last year. Tony Martin’s almost nailed on to win the final time trial, while Michal Kwiatkowski may finally end their run of no top 10s overall in 11 years.
