Australia | Team website

The only Australian team in the WorldTour cleverly focus their resources on doing few things well, rather than spreading themselves out. They are good at: TTTs, the bit from 5k to 250m to go, and Classics. They are bad at: the GC, and the bit from 250m to go.

With no TTT and no GC contender, it’ll all be about stage wins for Orica at the Tour de France. They’ve got an excellent leadout, but with Goss currently sprinting like a bag of spanners, their train is the cycling equivalent of putting Stephenson’s Rocket on the front of a TGV. Their best chances will be Gerrans and Albasini getting into breaks – both can get over the hills, then win reduced sprints.
