Since bike groupset giant Shimano released details of its electronic Dura Ace groupset last year, bikes actually featuring the ground-breaking technology have been thin on the ground.
Cannondale is set to make its move into high-end electronic trickery in March, with the release of the Di2 equipped Limited Edition Super Six. The price will be a cool £7,499.
The bike features 'Dale's SuperSix Hi Mod 2009 carbon-fibre frameset, and comes with Zipp 404 wheels.
Shimano's Di2 groupset uses wires rather than cables to transmit shifting information from the bar-mounted gear changers to the front and rear derailleurs. The clever part is that the gears constantly adjust themselves, meaning that - in theory - you get a slick shift every time.
