Full-on winter gloves at a reasonable price

This glove looks bulky, but that's not apparent in use, with good freedom of movement and dexterity.

The fleece lining feels comforting as your hand enters, with its warming effect amplified by a good air gap between that and its barrier windproof and water-resistant outer layer.

The layering system works - I suffer with cold hands, but my fingers stayed toasty, despite descending a freezing mountain pass.

Palm grip was OK and extra sticky patches on thumb and forefinger are useful for braking and gear shifts, while long cuffs make certain there are no gaps at the ends of your sleeves: vital for warm hands.

Verdict

Not much to complain about - and the price is reasonable, too.

Highly recommended.
