We review and rate a selection of cycling shorts to find out which is best

dhb items tend to do what they say on the tin and these basic shorts give you everything you need from a standard non-bib.

They're a simple, no-thrills design which offer a fair amount of comfort over hours spent in the saddle.

The chamois was positioned well and offered reasonable padding, although we'd invest in one of dhb's pricier pairs if we were embarking on an all-day ride.

Verdict

The leg length was good, but the waistband caused us a bit of discomfort as it failed to sit high enough when we were on the drops.
