We review and rate a selection of cycling shorts to find out which is best

We were impressed with these basic shorts from Condor which feel pretty comfortable given the budget price tag.

For longer rides we'd always opt for a bib design, but for shorter rides and commutes they'll do the job - and the chamois was pleasantly surprising too.

Verdict

Our one gripe would be that while the Lycra is of a reasonable quality, the fit leaves something to be desired with pretty long legs that come up fairly tight, meaning we opted for the size above our usual choice.
