Le Col B3 Winter jacket testing by CW this winter costing £249.99

Like the Ladies jacket tested by Corrine (seen p39), this B3 jacket from Le Col is from the new range.

It uses a similar amount of reflective material on the arms and flanks for class leading visibility.

The usual suspects are present with windproof arms and trunk and the rear Aqua Zero Roubaix fabric has a silicon coating to help water bead off without allowing the jacket to become unbearably hot when pushing on.

Like previous Le Col clothing, the fit is definitely at the racer end of the scale, but this also performs well at that level of intensity.

Verdict

The waterproof security pocket is a great touch and shows that the small companies are more than capable of keeping up with the bigger names. Only the opinion splitting thumb loop cuffs prevent full marks.
