Assos Early Winter Interactive Body Insulator £98.99

With minimal stretch compared to many base layers, the Assos fell down as a unisex item.

The small was only snug around the shoulders with little shape elsewhere.

The fabric was good, and it still kept warm, but care was needed when getting dressed to stop sleeves and back riding up. 

Verdict

One for the men only, and they get a temperature-regulating neck zip - at a price.
