CW tested the Pearl Izumi PRO Barrier WxB shoe covers costing £29.99
Despite initial fears of unsecured Velcro closures, we grew to like the PI overshoes.
The fleece-backed fabric offers warmth and the outside coating keeps the wind off too.
Verdict
With decent side cleat and heel holes, they should stay neat and the stretch meant they stayed put, even at very high speeds, letting in no cold drafts.
