Budget brand B'Twin has come up with a classy-looking yet keenly priced set of road kit designed specifically for women.
With each item costing less than 40 quid, it's a notch up from the basic Decathlon range but still incredible value for money.
The chamois offers comfort throughout time in the saddle, while the design is flattering and reminiscent of some of the slick kits of the pro peloton.
The grippers and finishing sit well on the skin, with no unsightly cutting-in or even a hint of ‘sausage leg', although when worn with knee-warmers they tended to ride up.
Talking of riding up, our only complaint is that taller riders may find the bibs slightly too short - not a problem for this tester, and depending on aesthetic preference could be a good thing! In contrast, the jersey fit is pretty generous, so if in doubt, go down a size.
