Giro Filter is a pair of high-performance glasses with interchangeable Zeiss lenses

The interchangeable lens is nothing new, and neither is the half-entrapped lens style, but Giro has gone about it in a different way.

Gone is the need for popping the lens out leaving grubby fingerprints; all the Giro Filter requires is a turn of its ‘Pop Top’ lever to release the lens. This clever cam mechanism is integrated into the frame’s aesthetics so well that it’s hard to tell it’s there.

The Zeiss polycarbonate True Sight lenses of the Giro Filter give minimal distortion.

‘Super Fit Engineering’ means that the frame hugs the head and doesn’t interfere with straps or the helmet itself. A gap between the brow and frame doesn’t completely prevent fogging up, but I haven’t yet found a pair of glasses that doesn’t fog.

Verdict

Clever new interchangeable lens system works well and 'Super Fit Engineering' means the Filter frame hugs your head.
