The ever-popular Selle Italia SLR gets an update and a red stripe
Built on the platform of the extremely popular SLR saddle, the Selle Italia SLR Gel Flow Team Edition has big shoes to fill.
Featuring a slightly stiffer base, padding that moulds to your shape ensures a comfortable ride.
A cut-out relieves pressure, with no discomfort experienced on many six-hour rides. The nose also has enough padding for comfort.
Build quality and longevity are worth a mention. the Lorica covering stayed in very good condition, outlasting other leading brands.
Verdict
A pro-level race saddle that is comfortable as well as light, and a worthy successor to the original SLR.
